    Housing Information
    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) gives active service members two options for housing; living on base or finding a home off-base within the community.

    Pope Field is now part of Fort Bragg, therefore some of the housing services are provided by Fort Bragg.

    • Once you have orders to move, contact the Housing Services Office  (910) 396-1022. They can answer all of your housing questions and provide services such as referrals, resolving tenant-landlord disputes, and guidance for entering lease agreements.

    Pope Field On Base Housing

    • Pope Field on-base housing is privatized and provided by Corvias Military Living (910) 495-0878, which offers 11 communities for both Fort Bragg and Pope Field families. Some home amenities include: washer/dryer hookups, garbage disposals and free lawn care. Some community amenities include swimming pools and community centers.

    Fayetteville is the closest major city to Pope Field. There are about 320,000 people in the metro area, and nearby communities include Spring Lake and Fort Bragg. It is about 22 minutes from downtown Fayetteville to Pope. Fayetteville is a mid-sized city in North Carolina, and in the south-central part of the state. This area of North Carolina is moderately hilly, and broken up by river and stream valleys, with a humid climate; winters are mild and summers are hot and humid.

    About the Base
    Pope Field is home to the 43rd Airlift Wing which provides air support and airlift for American armed forces worldwide. In 2011, Pope Air Force Base combined with Fort Bragg to become Pope Field. The combined base is one of the oldest military installations in the Air Force.
